Beach Walk

Early morning walk, led by our Trainers – a good chance to see the sunrise and take some beautiful photos. A nice and gentle way to start the day.

Kickboxing

Burns an average of 500 calories an hour (some estimates reach 810), Targets your arms, shoulders, abs, thighs, and butt in one workout, It’s an amazing stress release.

Body Weight Fat Blast

A class made up completely of body weight exercises. This class focuses on high-intensity interval training, to blast fat and develop muscle tone from head to toe. Using the weight of your body to exercise particular muscles, you can make this as easy or difficult as you like.

Zumba & Dance

Fuses fitness, entertainment and culture into an exhilarating dance-fitness sensation. Check out the dance craze that is sweeping the nation! Inspired by Latin dance and music, Zumba uses a variety of styles in its routines, including cumbia, merengue, salsa, reggaeton, hip-hop, pop, mambo, rumba, flamenco, and calypso. Music selections include both fast and slow rhythms to help tone and sculpt the body with easy to follow dance moves! No dance experience required.

Aqua

Working out in water means your muscles are forced to work harder, burning more fat and toning them up faster than land-based exercises. This is because they are fighting the water every time they move. Increase muscular strength and cardiovascular fitness with minimal impact on joints.

Body Balance

Body Balance is a series of simple yoga moves, and embraces elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm and centered

Abs & Core / Core Strength

The basic abdominal floor crunch is old news at this point, and you want to take core training to the next level.

AMRAP

As many reps as possible. The class will be split into five time sections, where you will be given a number or moves to do as many as you can in the allocated time frame. You can make this class as easy or as difficult as you like

Thai Fit

Uses moves taken straight from a variety of martial arts, this body weight workout is perfectly designed to get you moving, whilst unleashing your inner warriors spirit. Train like a fighter to increase strength, endurance and flexibility

Complex Circuits

A circuit built using a number of different body weight moves and equipment based exercises. This class incorporates everything from kettle bells to medicine balls, skipping ropes to step ups. Who knows what move will be next!

Plyometric Circuits

We go back to the old school with some favorite moves and exercises. Don’t be fooled though, old school certainly does not mean easy.

Kettlebells

This class will show you just how versatile kettlebells are as a training tool for increasing muscle tone and strength, increasing the metabolism and blow torching fat from the body.

Functional Fitness

This class will train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks. It simulates common movements you might do at home, at work or in sports. While using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, functional fitness exercises also emphasize core stability.

Bootcamp Body Blitz

A Bootcamp style class – for an all over, full body workout

Animal influenced exercises, that tone muscles you did not think you had.

Circuits Core Focus

This will help you build abdominal strength and create a powerful core.

Speed, agility, quickness. A high intensity cardio workout, involving a number of different team drills

Schools Sports Day

This is a surprise, and is guaranteed to be fun!

HIIT

This fiercely energetic program is inspired by mixed martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.

Stretch & Relaxation

Exercises are designed to help you relax and stretch your body. Throughout the exercises, focus on your breathing (following the breathing patterns taught in the first exercise) and finding a comfortable place in each pose.

Metcon

Short for metabolic conditioning. This is a staple of CrossFit style training. Typically it is two to three exercises repeated for rounds.

TRX

The TRX System, also known as Total Resistance eXercise, refers to a specialized form of suspension training that utilizes equipment developed by former U.S. Navy SEAL, Randy Hetrick.

30/30

This is the ultimate Pilates class taking you to your limits. The first half focuses on ramping up your heart rate. It’s high intensity all the way so if you’re looking for a calorie burner this is it! The second half is all about the basic fundamentals of Pilates focusing on technique and form.

LBT

Legs, Bums & Tums. A popular group exercise class (especially with our female members) which targets the legs, bum and tum area to shape and tone the body.

Buddy Up

Partner workout as a fun way to push yourself further.

Boxing

Ultimate cardio classes, where an introduction to the techniques of boxing are combined with an intense workout

Optional Activities


Cycle & Trek

Simple moves and challenging terrains will help participants build cardio endurance, and take in Bournemouth’s beautiful coastline. We have bikes available for free hire for those of you who wish to explore the area.

In-house Gymnasium & Swimming Pool

Our Indoor Leisure center consists of a swimming pool and mini gym, for those of you wishing to continue your activities into the evening. We also have a steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi if you were looking for a more relaxing option!
